Q:How likely is it for a first year to get most of the classes they want?

Anonymous

It depends on what you want, but most of the time, you’re going to get disappointed on a few.   That happens just because all the upperclassmen have chosen their classes by the time first years get to pick, so you’ll get stuck with maybe some eight am classes or other undesirable things.  The more specific the class, the better the chance is that you’ll get it.  General biology is going to fill up fast, while something like Women’s Studies will be easier to get into.
